The only saving grace is that I have editors. And they get it. That, and other people got it. So I chalked it up to a few morons and moved on. All you can do, I think. And maybe laugh at them a bit. That often helps.

All it is is that their tiny brains cannot even suggest to them the possibility of deeper meaning in something. They watch the same thing you do, and while you see a message of hope and finding oneself, they see butt hearts. Simple, really.

they don’t spend enough time working out the part of their brain that lets them see the layers to a story

they just don’t think it’s important when that’s like

one of the most important skills you can learn, since it helps you see the many layers of yourself and the people around you

i don’t even care if you like the movies but don’t ignore the fact that is has really deep messages about love and life and family and how pain is something that doesn’t break you but makes you and you are special but you have to go out and do something about it and yeah life is hard but that doesn’t mean you have to wallow in misery AND HOLY SHIT everyone hates them selves but look at this guy, this dorky kind of dude, look at what he fucking did he became everything he had wanted to be and more and it’s amazing and i watch this movie and i cannot understand anyone who doesn’t get how much this relates to them how much this is about life and the pains we go through

and shit the comedy makes it more like life anyways because life has really goofy and out of place moments and you people

I love this photo. So many “historical” daguerrotypes show solemn faces (which makes sense if you only have a few photos taken in your life!) But you can practically hear the laughter in the last frame.

This one always makes me smile. If I’ve ever seen a picture that captures the essence of love, this is it.
